The MD-3 Aircraft Generator Set is a self-contained, gasoline engine driven unit designed to furnish 28-volt direct current and 128/208-volt, 400 cycle alternating current for starting aircraft engines and for servicing and calibrating aircraft instruments.
This generator may be used on aircraft incorporating either a single bus or split bus electrical system.
