American Helocopter AJ

The AJ pulse jet was similar in design to the jet engine used in the WW-II German V-1 Buzz Bomb. The engines were used in pairs on the tip of the rotor blades of the American Helicopter mode AJ portable helicopter. Engine designed in 1952 and design sold to Fairchild Engine and Airplane company in 1954. The pulse jet is the jet engine version of a 2 cycle engine.
